On April 16, 2025, ServiceNow Inc. (NYSE: NOW) announced a significant partnership with the Bradesco Foundation aimed at modernizing educational operations across Brazil. This collaboration, known as the ABC Project, seeks to enhance the experiences of educators and students by leveraging advanced digital operations and services.

1. Transforming Education in Brazil

The Bradesco Foundation, Brazil's largest private social investment initiative, has committed an impressive annual investment of R$1.5 billion towards providing free, high-quality education. Operating 40 proprietary schools and catering to over 42,000 students with the support of approximately 1,500 educators, the foundation recognized the urgent need for improved administrative processes to keep pace with its vast operations.

The partnership with ServiceNow aims to achieve greater efficiency, agility, and security within the education system. The ABC Project, which has already seen impressive results within a mere five months of implementation, has introduced the ServiceNow Platform to centralize and streamline essential services across the foundation's educational framework.

2. Key Features of the ABC Project

Central to the initiative is Conecta, a unified portal that centralizes administrative services, and FaBi, an AI-powered virtual assistant designed to facilitate faster and more personalized interactions. Since its launch, the platform has made significant strides, including:

  • Doubling Service Requests: The number of service requests has doubled, indicating a growing reliance on the digital platform by the foundation's staff.
  • Rapid Issue Resolution: Average resolution times for service requests have decreased by an astounding 12-fold.
  • Efficient Ticket Processing: Over 30,000 tickets have been successfully processed within the five-month timeframe, greatly optimizing administrative functions.
  • Streamlined Purchasing: The time required to complete purchasing processes has dramatically decreased from 72 hours to just 30 minutes, thanks to an integration with SAP that allows for immediate order creation.
  • Real-Time Device Monitoring: More than 18,000 devices are now monitored in real-time, enhancing control and security across the educational infrastructure.

3. Strategic Insights and Future Plans

As the ABC Project progresses, both entities are looking forward to the next steps of their partnership. The Bradesco Foundation has indicated plans to further integrate artificial intelligence into its operations, reinforcing its commitment to continuous innovation and automation in educational management.

Marcos Stahl, CIO of Bradesco Foundation, emphasized the strategic importance of technology in education, stating, "Technology is not just an operational support tool; it is a strategic pillar for education. With ServiceNow, we ensure that our processes keep pace with the scale and complexity of our operations, allowing our team to focus on what truly makes a difference: student development."

Federico Grosso, Group Vice President for Latin America at ServiceNow, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the pioneering nature of the collaboration. “Together, ServiceNow and the Bradesco Foundation have set a new standard for efficiency and productivity, serving as an inspiration for institutions across Brazil and Latin America,” he remarked.

4. Conclusion

The ABC Project represents a significant leap forward in the modernization of educational management in Brazil, showcasing how technology can transform traditional processes into agile, efficient operations. As Bradesco Foundation and ServiceNow continue their partnership, they are not only setting new benchmarks for educational institutions but also paving the way for a future where technology and education coalesce for enhanced student outcomes.
