Target Corp Unveils First-Ever Good & Gather Cookbook to Delight Busy Families

According to John Conlin, Senior Vice President of Merchandising for Food and Beverage at Target, the cookbook exemplifies the brand’s commitment to providing great taste, trusted ingredients, and incredible value.

"Families want great taste, trusted ingredients, and incredible value, which is why Good & Gather has become a go-to for guests," Conlin stated. "This cookbook is a natural next step for the brand, and it showcases what makes Target different in food and beverage: we're making food discovery and inspiration feel easy and approachable for busy families."

Since its launch in 2019, Good & Gather has rapidly established itself as Target’s flagship food and beverage brand, boasting a robust portfolio of 2,500 quality products ranging from fresh foods to pantry items, snacks, and beverages. The brand is on track to achieve $4 billion in sales, reflecting its strong reception among consumers seeking quality without unwanted ingredients. Notably, Good & Gather products are crafted without over 100 undesirable ingredients, including artificial flavors, sweeteners, synthetic colors, and high-fructose corn syrup.

The cookbook is crafted by Target’s in-house test kitchen team, comprising food scientists, culinary experts, and trend researchers dedicated to developing recipes and products that cater to the needs of everyday families. Diane Douglas, Director of Trends for Food and Beverage at Target, emphasized the unique blend of food science and culinary expertise that informs the cookbook's creation.
