The event will serve as a platform for Ryder to highlight its expertise in next-generation logistics and vehicle technologies, with an emphasis on emission reduction solutions.

1. Focus on Emission Reduction Technologies

Ryder’s participation in the ACT Expo will include executive speaking sessions and an interactive booth (#1853) showcasing advanced vehicle technologies. The company aims to spotlight near-zero and zero-emission solutions specifically designed for light-duty vehicles and yard tractors. As the transportation industry faces increasing pressure to reduce emissions, Ryder's commitment to sustainability aligns with the goals of the expo.

Executive Participation in Key Sessions

Several key executives from Ryder will be taking part in three pivotal sessions during the expo, focusing on the integration of automation and the challenges in last-mile delivery for commercial fleets. The sessions include:

2. RyderElectric+: A Comprehensive EV Solution

At the expo, Ryder will also feature its innovative RyderElectric+ solution, launched in 2023. This end-to-end electric vehicle solution aims to facilitate fleet electrification by offering comprehensive support, including vehicle selection, charging infrastructure, advisory services, maintenance, and advanced telematics. By simplifying the transition from pilot programs to large-scale deployment, RyderElectric+ is designed to meet the growing demand for sustainable transportation solutions.

Jason Leon, Chief Technology Product Officer for Ryder’s Fleet Maintenance Solutions, expressed enthusiasm about the company's return to the ACT Expo. He stated, "We’re excited to be back at ACT Expo and to demonstrate how RyderElectric+ fits into our broader technology strategy to support customers as they explore and adopt next-generation solutions when and where it makes sense for their operations."

3. The Broader Impact of Ryder's Initiatives

With a strong focus on integrating advanced vehicle technologies, data, and operational expertise, Ryder is positioning itself as a leader in the logistics industry. The company's efforts to provide practical, scalable solutions are critical as the transportation sector navigates the complexities of emissions regulations and sustainability initiatives.

Ryder's comprehensive suite of services includes managed transportation, freight brokerage, dedicated contract carriage, and fleet management, serving over 20 industries. The company manages approximately 240,000 commercial vehicles and operates nearly 800 maintenance locations across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
