Amazon’s innovative approach has led to meaningful delivery improvements across diverse geographic areas—from urban centers like Manhattan, where e-bikes facilitate rapid deliveries, to remote locations such as Mackinac Island, Michigan, where prescriptions are transported by ferries and horses.

In Los Angeles, the integration of Amazon Pharmacy Kiosks in One Medical locations allowed patients to collect their medications almost immediately after their appointments, ensuring timely treatment. Amazon plans to further expand kiosk access throughout 2026, enhancing the convenience of its services.

Amazon Pharmacy’s commitment to improving medication access is particularly notable in remote and underserved regions. The service now extends to areas in Alaska and the Navajo Nation, where traditional pharmacies may be located over an hour away.
