IBM Inaugurates New Headquarters and Technology Campus in Ehningen, Germany

The newly established IBM Technology Campus is strategically positioned adjacent to the IBM Quantum Data Center, creating a vibrant ecosystem that combines IBM's German headquarters, research and development facilities, and the innovative IBM Innovation Studio. This campus is designed to foster collaboration and creativity among IBM employees, partners, and other businesses.

With a capacity of 3,500 modern and collaborative workstations spread across four distinct buildings, the campus is set to become a marketplace of ideas. During the inauguration, Federal Minister Dr. Karsten Wildberger emphasized the significance of the new campus as a beacon for innovation in Germany. Thomas Strobl, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior for Digitalization and Municipalities of the State of Baden-Württemberg, echoed this sentiment, asserting that IBM's investment solidifies the attractiveness of the region for innovative companies. He noted that Baden-Württemberg is a leader in research and development, making it an ideal location for IBM's operations.

Wolfgang Wendt, Chairman of the Management Board of IBM Deutschland GmbH, articulated the importance of the new campus for IBM's long-term strategy in Germany. He stated, "Our new IBM Technology Campus in Ehningen highlights the importance of Germany as a technology location for IBM... contributing to Germany's digital autonomy and economic well-being."
