DXC Technology Appoints Holly Grant as President of LabX, Fostering AI Growth

Holly Grant’s new role reflects an expansion of LabX’s responsibilities within DXC, where she will oversee both the product incubation and the commercial strategy related to DXC’s AI partner platform. This dual focus aims to streamline the development and deployment of practical AI solutions for DXC’s diverse clientele. As the head of both LabX and AI Platforms Engine, Grant will integrate AI-native product development with platform expertise, ensuring that DXC remains at the forefront of AI innovation.

CEO Raul Fernandez expressed confidence in Grant’s ability to enhance LabX’s impact: “Holly has been a driving force behind our AI strategy and has built LabX into an important source of innovation for DXC and our customers,” he stated. He emphasized the importance of Grant’s leadership in pursuing high-growth opportunities while maintaining DXC’s core competencies.

Launched in April 2026, LabX was created to transform AI innovations into practical applications. The unit has already begun testing solutions internally at DXC and with customers, setting the stage for broader rollout. With the addition of the AI Platforms Engine, LabX is expected to improve its offerings by leveraging partnerships with leading AI technology providers like Amazon Quick, Anthropic's Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.

The strategic focus of LabX is to empower customers to move beyond experimental phases of AI implementation—often referred to as "pilot purgatory"—and toward scalable deployment across their core systems. Grant highlighted the urgency of this mission: “Our customers are no longer asking whether AI matters. They are asking who can turn it into meaningful business results.”

The expanded role of LabX is designed to enhance DXC’s capabilities in developing AI-native solutions that meet diverse customer needs. LabX will function within an open AI ecosystem, which reflects DXC's belief that no single technology or model can address all customer challenges. This approach allows clients the flexibility to choose technologies that align with their business objectives while benefiting from DXC’s vast industry expertise and global delivery capabilities.

Moreover, the integration of tens of thousands of forward-deployed engineers (FDEs) directly into customer environments will facilitate accelerated AI transformations. These engineers will work closely with clients to customize solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.

Since her arrival at DXC, Grant has played a pivotal role in shaping the company's AI strategy and establishing LabX as a leader in AI product incubation. Her previous experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at the Long-Term Stock Exchange (LTSE), where she was instrumental in scaling the organization during a critical growth phase. Grant’s strong background in strategy, operations, and innovation positions her uniquely to steer LabX into its next phase of development.
