ASHBURN, Va. and SAN FRANCISCO, June 11, 2026 – In a significant move to enhance artificial intelligence capabilities within critical enterprise systems, DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC) has announced a multi-year global alliance with Anthropic, the AI safety and research firm known for its Claude AI model. This partnership, which elevates DXC to a Global Premier partner within the Claude Partner Network, aims to integrate Claude's advanced AI functionalities into the mission-critical technology infrastructures that DXC operates for some of the world's largest organizations.

1. A New Era of AI Integration

Advancing AI in Managed Services

Through this collaboration, DXC plans to create a dedicated workforce of tens of thousands of Claude-certified engineers and builders. These professionals will be embedded directly within customer environments to expedite the transformation of enterprise systems using AI. This is a critical step as DXC works with an existing customer base that includes significant players in banking, airlines, insurance, manufacturing, and government sectors.

DXC has already demonstrated the effectiveness of Claude in its operations, notably through the development of DXC OASIS—a cutting-edge AI-native orchestration platform for managed services. Since its launch in April 2026, DXC OASIS has been deployed among more than 50 customers, leveraging Claude to dramatically accelerate software delivery by an estimated 10 times, with over 95% of code generated by Claude prior to human review.

Commitment to Security and Compliance

The partnership not only enhances DXC's technical capabilities but also ensures that these advancements meet stringent security and compliance requirements. Paul Smith, Chief Commercial Officer of Anthropic, highlighted the importance of trust and experience, stating, “They proved Claude inside their own operations first, under the same security and compliance requirements their customers face.”

Raul Fernandez, President & CEO of DXC Technology, emphasized the significance of this alliance, asserting that it combines decades of industry experience with cutting-edge AI technology. "This is a defining moment for DXC and for the industry," he remarked, underlining the transformative potential of AI in critical enterprise operations.

2. Workforce Transformation: Building Claude-Certified Engineers

Training and Certification

At the core of the DXC-Anthropic alliance is the establishment of a specialized team of forward-deployed engineers. These engineers will be selected from DXC's existing talent pool and will undergo a rigorous 90-day certification process through the Anthropic Partner Academy. This initiative reflects DXC's Customer Zero philosophy, ensuring that the capabilities of Claude are validated in-house before being rolled out to clients.

Enhancing Operational Capabilities

The training program aims to equip engineers with the skills necessary to design, deploy, and govern agentic AI systems effectively. In addition, DXC is developing a supplementary certification curriculum tailored to enhance engineers' proficiency in mission-critical environments, thereby reinforcing their operational capabilities.

3. Future Offerings: Focus Areas of Transformation

Key Sectors

Initial focus areas for the integration of Claude's AI capabilities include:

  • Insurance: DXC will leverage Claude to implement agentic solutions tailored to the unique contexts and operating models of insurance firms, transforming core systems for greater efficiency.
  • Modernization as a Service (MaaS): The partnership will utilize Claude to expedite the modernization of legacy codebases, applying advanced AI technologies to improve accuracy and speed compared to traditional methods.
  • Cybersecurity: DXC's integration of Claude into its cybersecurity operations will enhance resilience and response capabilities across security operations centers (SOCs), enabling a proactive approach to cyber threats.
  • Application Services: DXC plans to embed Claude directly into the enterprise application maintenance and management processes, optimizing service delivery for its customers.

4. Conclusion

The alliance between DXC Technology and Anthropic marks a pivotal step in the evolution of AI within enterprise systems. By combining DXC's extensive experience with Anthropic's innovative AI technology, the partnership is poised to deliver unmatched value to customers, reinforcing DXC's role as a leader in enterprise technology and innovation. As the demand for advanced AI solutions grows, this collaboration will likely set a new standard for the integration of AI in mission-critical environments.
