March 17, 2026 – In a significant move to bolster the security of artificial intelligence (AI) systems, CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: CRWD) has joined forces with World Wide Technology (WWT) to unveil the Securing AI with CrowdStrike Lab. This innovative lab, situated within WWT’s AI Proving Ground, is designed to provide enterprises with the tools necessary to test, validate, and implement AI systems while ensuring robust security measures are in place prior to deployment.

1. The Need for Security in AI Adoption

As organizations increasingly integrate AI into their operations, the associated risks have also escalated. Misconfigurations, data exposure, and prompt injection vulnerabilities pose significant threats across various infrastructures, cloud environments, and runtime scenarios. The newly established lab aims to address these challenges head-on by embedding security measures directly into the AI stack, enabling businesses to innovate without the fear of compromising security.

2. Features of the Securing AI Lab

The Securing AI with CrowdStrike Lab is built on NVIDIA AI factories and allows enterprises to seamlessly integrate the CrowdStrike Falcon® platform into their AI environments. This integration enables organizations to ensure unified protection across critical layers of their AI operations, facilitating risk assessment, controls validation, and secure AI deployment.

Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike, emphasized the importance of adapting security alongside the evolution of AI technologies. “AI is foundational to how modern enterprises operate and innovate, and security must evolve with it,” he stated. The collaboration with WWT and NVIDIA is set to help organizations transition from experimentation to production-grade AI while ensuring comprehensive protection from day one.

3. A Collaborative Approach to AI Security

Chris Konrad, Vice President of Global Cyber at WWT, highlighted the necessity for enterprises to validate AI functionality before making substantial investments. By merging WWT’s infrastructure expertise and AI Readiness Model for Operational Resilience (ARMOR) with CrowdStrike’s security platform, customers can achieve enhanced visibility, governance, and control as they move from GPU investments to full-scale production.

The lab's creation is also supported by insights from industry leaders like Bryan Green, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at MGM Resorts International. Green remarked on the critical need for validated environments that integrate security from the outset, stating, “As enterprises move from pilots to production, we need validated environments that embed protection from the start.”

4. Operationalizing AI with Confidence

The collaboration between WWT and CrowdStrike aims to empower enterprises to operationalize AI securely. By embedding unified protection across all operational layers—be it infrastructure, cloud, or runtime—the partnership provides a fortified pathway for organizations to scale AI confidently.

In summary, the launch of the Securing AI with CrowdStrike Lab marks a pivotal development in the AI landscape, ensuring that as businesses embrace AI technologies, they can do so with the assurance that security is a foundational aspect of their deployment processes. With the combined expertise of CrowdStrike and WWT, enterprises are now better equipped to navigate the complexities of AI security in an increasingly digital world.
