March 16, 2026 – In a significant advancement for managed detection and response (MDR) services, CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: CRWD) announced an expanded collaboration with NVIDIA today at the Global Technology Conference (GTC). This partnership aims to enhance the capabilities of CrowdStrike's Agentic MDR through the integration of NVIDIA’s advanced AI technologies, demonstrating a groundbreaking leap in investigative speed and accuracy.

1. Accelerating Investigative Workflows

CrowdStrike's latest innovations include the use of the NVIDIA Agent Toolkit, which incorporates open NVIDIA Nemotron models as well as the NVIDIA NeMo Data Designer. These tools are designed to power specialized security agents, significantly improving the efficiency of investigative workflows. Internal testing of the CrowdStrike Falcon® Complete Next-Gen MDR has shown that investigations can be conducted up to five times faster and triage accuracy can be enhanced by three times, particularly in high-confidence benign classification scenarios.

As cyber adversaries increasingly utilize AI to enhance their operational capabilities, the need for security teams to operate at machine speed has become critical. Security operations centers (SOCs) are inundated with thousands of detections daily, often requiring manual review to differentiate between genuine threats and false alarms. Given ongoing talent shortages and budgetary constraints, enhancing speed and accuracy without increasing workforce size has emerged as a strategic necessity.

2. The Next Evolution of Managed Defense

CrowdStrike's Agentic MDR represents a transformative approach to managed defense, where AI-driven agents work alongside human analysts. This synergy is intended to streamline high-volume workflows, improve decision-making quality, and provide robust protection across enterprise environments. The collaboration with NVIDIA will further bolster the security of autonomous agents through the integration of the NVIDIA OpenShell open-source runtime within the Falcon platform, following a Secure-by-Design AI Blueprint.

Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike, emphasized the urgency of this evolution: “Adversaries are already using AI to move faster and scale their operations. The future of managed defense isn’t adding more analysts – it’s embedding AI agents directly into SOC operations to give analysts superpowers.”

3. Transforming Cyber Resilience

The integration of AI reasoning models and synthetic data is poised to revolutionize the way enterprises manage intelligence. Justin Boitano, Vice President of Enterprise AI Products at NVIDIA, stated, “Together with CrowdStrike, we’re bringing secure, autonomous AI agents into security operations – enabling organizations to reason through threats, act in real time, and continuously strengthen their cyber resilience.”

David Burg, Global Group Head of Cyber and Data Resilience at Kroll, also highlighted the significance of this partnership, noting that the advanced AI reasoning in Falcon Complete Next-Gen MDR will lead to faster, high-quality outcomes for clients globally.

4. Key Technological Advancements

The collaboration has yielded impressive results in internal benchmarking, confirming substantial performance improvements. CrowdStrike evaluated the NVIDIA Nemotron models across various use cases for Falcon Complete Next-Gen MDR, enabling the orchestration of investigative workflows and automating high-volume Tier 1 analyses while preserving necessary oversight from human analysts.

The models utilized synthetic data generated through the NVIDIA NeMo Data Designer, which facilitates the learning of data patterns from expert insights and first-party telemetry. This innovative approach creates structured training signals that enhance model accuracy and consistency across investigative workflows.

Notably, fine-tuning the NVIDIA Nemotron Nano model achieved an impressive 96% accuracy in generating investigation queries within Falcon® LogScale, which features a user-friendly natural-language interface designed to boost investigative efficiency.

5. Conclusion

CrowdStrike and NVIDIA are leading the charge in redefining the landscape of cybersecurity operations with their pioneering Agentic MDR approach. As organizations face an increasingly complex threat environment, the integration of advanced AI technologies is not just a luxury, but a necessity for enhancing cyber defense capabilities. With these developments, CrowdStrike continues to solidify its position as a leader in the cybersecurity space, committed to stopping breaches and protecting enterprises worldwide.
