CrowdStrike and Schwarz Digits Expand Strategic Partnership to Deliver Sovereign Cybersecurity Across Europe

As part of this expanded partnership, CrowdStrike has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the intellectual property of XM Cyber, a company under the Schwarz Digits umbrella known for its advanced attack path visualization and offensive simulation technologies. This acquisition is a strategic move to bolster CrowdStrike's exposure management business, allowing XM Cyber’s existing customers to transition seamlessly to the Falcon platform via Falcon® Flex.

George Kurtz, CEO and founder of CrowdStrike, emphasized the growing global trend of organizations prioritizing sovereignty without sacrificing cybersecurity outcomes. "This partnership accelerates our ability to deliver the Falcon platform on STACKIT's sovereign cloud environment in Europe," Kurtz stated, reinforcing the urgent need for businesses to standardize on comprehensive security platforms rather than fragmented point solutions.

The Falcon® Exposure Management solution is designed to address the vulnerabilities exposed by traditional security management practices, which can no longer keep pace with the speed at which vulnerabilities are identified and exploited. This innovative approach provides continuous, real-time visibility across a company's entire attack surface, allowing security teams to prioritize threats based on their exploitability in real-world scenarios.

According to IDC, organizations that adopt Falcon typically replace an average of five point tools, benefiting from a unified view of risk that fragmented systems fail to provide. This integration of detection, response, and remediation capabilities aims to close the gap between identifying risks and preventing breaches.

The partnership marks a deepening of the collaboration between CrowdStrike and Schwarz Digits, underpinned by Schwarz Digits’ own deployment of the Falcon platform. The initiative will unfold through a phased roadmap to deliver the Falcon platform on STACKIT, ensuring European enterprises have access to a cybersecurity solution that meets stringent regulatory requirements, such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act and the NIS2 directive.

XM Cyber, recognized as a Challenger in the 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Exposure Assessment Platforms, will continue its operations supporting existing customers while offering them the option to migrate to the Falcon platform. This transition will empower organizations to leverage the advanced capabilities of the Falcon platform as they adapt to the evolving cybersecurity landscape.

Upon closing, CrowdStrike will acquire XM Cyber's intellectual property, which includes over 45 patents and proprietary source code, while XM Cyber will maintain its operations as a standalone business with a license for the newly acquired technology. The transaction is anticipated to be finalized in the second half of CrowdStrike's fiscal year 2027, pending standard closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
