Verra Mobility Corporation (NASDAQ: VRRM), a prominent player in smart mobility technology solutions, has unveiled its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ending December 31, 2025. The report indicates a robust performance across its business segments, showcasing the company's commitment to growth and profitability.

1. Strong Revenue Growth

In the fourth quarter of 2025, Verra Mobility achieved total revenue of $257.9 million, a 16% increase from $221.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2024. This growth was primarily driven by a 14% rise in service revenue. Notably, the Government Solutions segment reported a remarkable 21% growth, fueled by the New York City Department of Transportation's red-light expansion program and the proliferation of enforcement programs for speed, city bus lanes, and school bus stop arms. Meanwhile, the Commercial Services segment experienced a 10% increase in revenue, bolstered by higher product adoption rates and increased tolling activity, along with an expansion of operations in Europe.

Despite a marginal increase in the Parking Solutions service revenue, which grew by $0.3 million compared to the same period last year, challenges were noted in software as a service (SaaS) offerings and subscription revenues related to parking management solutions.

2. Improved Profitability Metrics

The company's financial performance also reflected significant improvement in net income. For the fourth quarter of 2025, Verra Mobility reported a net income of $18.9 million, equivalent to $0.12 per share, a stark contrast to the net loss of $66.7 million or $0.41 per share in the same quarter of 2024. This turnaround was largely attributed to the goodwill impairment recorded in the previous year, underscoring the company's recovery trajectory.

Adjusted Earnings and EBITDA Performance

Adjusted Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the fourth quarter of 2025 was $0.30, a slight decrease from $0.33 in the corresponding period of 2024. Adjusted EBITDA stood at $101.8 million, nearly steady compared to $102.0 million in 2024, yielding an Adjusted EBITDA Margin of 39%. However, this marked a decrease from 46% the previous year, attributed to rising costs associated with project implementations and readiness for NYCDOT initiatives.

3. Operational Cash Flow Insights

Verra Mobility's operational cash flow reported a slight decrease, with $40.0 million generated from operating activities in the fourth quarter of 2025, down from $40.5 million in the same quarter of 2024. Additionally, the company reported a Free Cash Flow of $5.7 million for the fourth quarter, significantly lower than the $21.6 million reported during the same period last year, largely due to increased capital expenditures.

4. Leadership Commentary

David Roberts, President and CEO of Verra Mobility, expressed confidence in the company's strategic direction: "We closed 2025 with strong execution and momentum across our three business segments. Total revenue for the fourth quarter increased 16 percent over the fourth quarter of 2024, exceeding our internal expectations while Adjusted EBITDA and Adjusted Earnings Per Share were in-line with our internal expectations. Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, we are executing against a focused value-creation strategy designed to strengthen our core, enhance profitability and position Verra Mobility for durable long-term growth."

5. Looking Ahead

As Verra Mobility moves into 2026, its focus on bolstering core operations and enhancing profitability positions it well for sustained growth in the evolving smart mobility landscape. Investors and stakeholders alike will be keen to observe how the company navigates challenges while capitalizing on opportunities in the coming year.
