Tony Lamerato brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having been with Scripps since 2016. Previously, he served as vice president of sports revenue and sponsorships, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the revenue and sponsorship strategies for Scripps Sports. His expertise includes modeling and valuing sports rights and advertising opportunities, particularly with local sports partnerships such as the Big Sky Conference and notable NHL teams like the Vegas Golden Knights and Florida Panthers.
Before his tenure in sports, Lamerato was the senior director of revenue strategy for Scripps' Local Media division. He has also held significant positions, including director of sales for Scripps' ABC and independent stations in Detroit—WXYZ and WMYD—and local sales manager at Fox Sports Detroit.
