Polaris Inc. Dominates at the 2025 SCORE San Felipe 250
1. A Historic Win for RZR Factory Racing
On April 7, 2025, Polaris Inc. proudly announced a remarkable achievement by its RZR Factory Racing team at the 38th SCORE San Felipe 250. Brock Heger secured the UTV Overall and UTV Pro Open victory, marking his sixth consecutive win in as many outings. This victory not only reinforces Polaris's dominance in the UTV racing circuit but also showcases the exceptional capabilities of the RZR Pro R Factory race vehicle.
2. Unmatched Performance on Challenging Terrain
The race began with a random draw determining the starting positions. Heger commenced in third place, with fellow competitors Justin Morgan, Cayden MacCachren, and Max Eddy Jr. starting in ninth, sixteenth, and twentieth positions, respectively. By the 35-mile mark, the RZR Factory Racing team had already surged to the front, demonstrating superior driving skills and vehicle performance.
Despite a fierce competition, particularly from Morgan, who led initially, Heger and Eddy Jr. climbed the ranks. By mile 140, Heger was locked in a fierce battle for first place with MacCachren, while Eddy Jr. meticulously navigated the challenging terrain to maintain his position.
The final stretch of the race was a true testament to the strength and reliability of the RZR Pro R Factory platform. Heger regained the lead, overtaking MacCachren and finishing strong. Eddy Jr. also capitalized on his experience to secure a podium finish, completing a remarkable day for the entire team.
3. Words from the Champions
Brock Heger expressed his elation after the victory: "It feels incredible to kick off the 2025 SCORE season with an overall win—and to make it six consecutive wins in six starts is pretty surreal. This San Felipe course was absolutely brutal, and I had my fair share of highs and lows out there. But the Polaris RZR Pro R Factory delivered exactly what I needed, exactly when I needed it."
Alex Scheuerell, Technical Director of RZR Factory Racing, echoed Heger’s sentiments, stating: "Today was incredibly meaningful. Watching our RZR Factory Racing team take on the San Felipe terrain and come away with first overall is a powerful reflection of the strength and dedication behind this program. Huge thanks to the entire RZR engineering team for delivering such a solid platform."
4. Future Challenges Ahead
With this victory, RZR Factory Racing sets its sights on the upcoming Baja 500, scheduled for June 4–8, where Heger and his teammates aim to continue their winning streak and further solidify Polaris's legacy in the SCORE series. Cayden MacCachren will return to defend his overall UTV title, promising more thrilling competition ahead.
