Motorola Solutions Enhances Azerbaijan's Communication Infrastructure

Motorola Solutions has been selected to implement a comprehensive upgrade of Azerbaijan's secure radio communication system, specifically tailored to meet the needs of public safety agencies and state institutions. The project will leverage Motorola's cutting-edge DIMETRA Connect technology, which seamlessly integrates TETRA features over broadband, enabling users to maintain communication even when traveling beyond traditional radio coverage areas.

As part of the modernization effort, Motorola will deploy MXP660 multi-bearer portable radios. These devices are designed to ensure that state institutions benefit from extended coverage and reliable connectivity, crucial for effective communication in the field. The integration of these advanced radios into the network underscores the emphasis on providing robust communication tools for public safety personnel.

One of the standout features of this project is the implementation of geographic redundancy on the DIMETRA TETRA system. By establishing multiple data centers, Motorola Solutions aims to enhance the resilience of the communication network. This strategic move will help maintain operational continuity during power outages, natural disasters, or other unexpected events, ensuring that critical communications remain uninterrupted.

In addition to the modernization efforts, Motorola Solutions will provide comprehensive support services for a period of three years.
