However, the Consulting segment faced challenges, reporting a revenue decrease of 14.7% to $119 million.

Despite the mixed results across segments, the gross contribution margin for the Insights segment remained strong at 78.2%, while the Conferences segment achieved a contribution margin of 38.8%.

Gartner's Chairman and CEO, Gene Hall, expressed optimism about the company’s trajectory, stating, “Contract Value accelerated in the quarter. Insights revenue, Adjusted EBITDA excluding divested operations, Adjusted EPS, and free cash flow were ahead of expectations.” Hall highlighted the company's commitment to shareholder value, noting that Gartner repurchased $535 million of its stock during the quarter.

In light of these results, Gartner has also raised its full-year guidance for Adjusted EBITDA, Adjusted EPS, and free cash flow, indicating a positive outlook for the remainder of 2026.
