Agenus Inc., a prominent player in the field of immuno-oncology, has announced the forthcoming release of its second quarter financial results for 2026. The report is scheduled to be made public before the market opens on Thursday, August 6, 2026. This announcement comes as the company continues to push forward with its innovative therapies aimed at treating cancer.

1. Webcast to Discuss Corporate Priorities

Following the financial report, Agenus plans to host a webcast later in August to provide insights into its corporate priorities. Central to this discussion will be the acceleration of the botensilimab and balstilimab (BOT+BAL) immunotherapy combination, currently being tested in the neoadjuvant colon cancer setting through the Phase 3 ROBBIN trial. This trial represents a significant step in the development of immunotherapies designed to improve patient outcomes.

Agenus will also highlight upcoming clinical and data milestones during the webcast, alongside its ongoing efforts to enhance patient access to the BOT+BAL combination therapy. Detailed information, including the agenda and access information for the webcast, will be released prior to the event.

2. A Leader in Immuno-Oncology

Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Lexington, MA, Agenus has established itself as a leader in immuno-oncology, focusing on expanding the patient populations that benefit from cancer immunotherapy. The company boasts a comprehensive pipeline of immunological agents and has robust capabilities in both commercial and clinical cGMP manufacturing, research, and global clinical operations.

Agenus is dedicated to utilizing a broad spectrum of antibody therapeutics, adoptive cell therapies through its partnership with MiNK Therapeutics, and adjuvants to create effective combination therapies for various cancer types.

3. Innovative Therapies: Botensilimab and Balstilimab

Botensilimab (BOT)

Botensilimab is a groundbreaking human Fc-enhanced multifunctional anti-CTLA-4 antibody designed to amplify both innate and adaptive anti-tumor immune responses. Its innovative design aims to extend the benefits of immunotherapy to "cold" tumors, which typically exhibit poor responses to standard care or are resistant to conventional PD-1/CTLA-4 therapies.

The therapeutic action of botensilimab includes priming and activating T cells, downregulating intratumoral regulatory T cells, stimulating myeloid cells, and inducing long-term memory responses. To date, approximately 1,300 patients have participated in clinical trials involving botensilimab and/or balstilimab, demonstrating clinical responses across nine metastatic, late-line cancers.

Balstilimab (BAL)

Balstilimab serves as a complementary treatment to botensilimab. This fully human monoclonal immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4) is engineered to block PD-1 from interacting with its ligands PD-L1 and PD-L2. With over 900 patients evaluated in clinical studies, balstilimab has shown promising clinical activity and a favorable tolerability profile across various tumor types.

4. Looking Ahead

As Agenus prepares to unveil its financial results and developmental progress, the market will be closely monitoring the company’s advancements in immuno-oncology. The anticipated webcast promises to shed light on the strategic direction of Agenus, particularly in relation to its BOT+BAL combination therapy and upcoming clinical milestones. Investors and stakeholders are encouraged to stay tuned for updates from the company as it continues its mission of enhancing cancer treatment outcomes through innovative therapies.
