1. A New Era in Leadership

On February 24, 2025, Payoneer Global Inc. (NASDAQ: PAYO), a prominent financial technology company, announced the appointment of Barak Eilam to its Board of Directors as a Class I director. This strategic move comes as part of Payoneer's ongoing effort to enhance its leadership team and drive growth within the small and medium-sized business (SMB) sector.

2. Barak Eilam: A Proven Leader

Barak Eilam brings with him nearly three decades of high-level experience in building and scaling technology enterprises. His most recent role was as the CEO of NICE Ltd. (NASDAQ: NICE), a leading global software company specializing in analytics and artificial intelligence solutions. Under Eilam's leadership from 2014 to December 2024, NICE experienced substantial growth, significantly expanding its total addressable market and revenue.

Eilam's career at NICE began in 1999 as an engineer, and over the course of 25 years, he ascended through various senior executive roles in engineering, product management, and sales leadership, ultimately serving as President of NICE Americas. His extensive background in technology and leadership positions him as an asset to Payoneer.

In addition to his role at Payoneer, Eilam is currently a board member of several companies, including FactSet Research Systems Inc. (NYSE: FDS | NASDAQ: FDS) and SimilarWeb Ltd. (NYSE: SMWB). He also serves on the boards of privately held companies HMH and Cvent Inc. Eilam holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.

3. Payoneer’s Vision for Growth

John Caplan, CEO and Board member of Payoneer, expressed his enthusiasm about Eilam's appointment, stating, "I’m thrilled to welcome Barak to our Board. He is a highly respected and successful leader with a substantial track record of driving growth and innovation at scale." Caplan emphasized that Eilam’s experience as an executive and director will provide valuable insights as Payoneer continues to focus on delivering shareholder value.

Eilam himself shared his excitement about the new role, saying, "I am honored to join Payoneer’s Board of Directors. It is an exciting time for the company and I am looking forward to working with the leadership team as they build a global financial stack for businesses and entrepreneurs around the world."
