1. New Restaurant Launch in Iconic Location

On January 7, 2026, First Watch Restaurant Group, Inc., a prominent player in the daytime dining sector, announced the grand opening of its latest location in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood. Following the successful launch of its Hanover restaurant in January 2025, First Watch is keen on establishing a strong presence in New England with the introduction of its Boylston Street location at 777 Boylston St.

2. A Culinary Haven in 3,100 Square Feet

The new restaurant spans 3,100 square feet and accommodates 130 guests, including an inviting outdoor patio designed for al fresco dining during the warmer months. The interior boasts a Back Bay-inspired mural and features a full bar where patrons can indulge in brunch cocktails, including the brand’s signature Million Dollar Bloody Mary and Spiked Lavender Lemonade. The restaurant also showcases a unique signage installation by local artist Blind Fox, emphasizing First Watch's commitment to integrating with local culture.

3. Commitment to Fresh Ingredients and Community Engagement

First Watch is dedicated to quality and freshness, preparing each dish to order without the use of heat lamps, microwaves, or deep fryers. The menu features an array of breakfast and brunch favorites, such as Avocado Toast, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, and the signature Million Dollar Bacon. Lunch offerings include a Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl and various handcrafted sandwiches.

In a nod to sustainability and social responsibility, the Boylston team will start their mornings by juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, offering a selection of invigorating juices like Morning Meditation and Kale Tonic. Additionally, the restaurant takes pride in its Project Sunrise coffee, sourced exclusively from women coffee farmers in South America. To celebrate the opening, First Watch is offering customers who dine in from January 7 to January 9 a complimentary cup of Project Sunrise coffee with their meal.

4. A Festive Opening Ceremony

To commemorate the opening, First Watch hosted a lively “first pour” ceremony attended by the restaurant's leadership and local state representatives. The event featured a special appearance by Wally the Green Monster, who poured the brand’s signature Project Sunrise coffee, creating a festive atmosphere that highlighted community engagement. Prior to the official opening, the Boylston team also participated in a week-long initiative to collect donations for The Jimmy Fund, a charitable partner of the company.

5. Looking Ahead: Growth in Boston

Mike Lankowski, Regional Vice President of First Watch, expressed enthusiasm for the new location, stating, “We are thrilled to continue growing within the Boston area and to introduce First Watch’s chef-driven menu to the vibrant Back Bay community. Boylston Street is an iconic location, and we look forward to becoming a neighborhood favorite where locals and visitors alike can start their day.”

First Watch’s full menu will be available daily from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for pickup, delivery, and dine-in service. Customers can place orders or join a digital waitlist by visiting firstwatch.com and connecting on social media with @FirstWatch.
