CSX Corp Announces Platinum Designation for Westgate Super Site in Dothan, Alabama

The CSX Select Site program, initiated in 2012, is designed to streamline the site selection process for manufacturers by identifying development-ready properties along the CSX railway network. Since the Select Site program was launched, CSX reports that these designated properties have attracted numerous manufacturers, leading to projected capital investments totaling approximately $16.2 billion and the creation of nearly 13,000 new jobs nationwide.

Jonathan Gemmen, Senior Director at Austin Consulting, remarked on the site's unique attributes, stating, "It is uncommon to find such a large, attractive greenfield industrial site, which is both adjacent to the railroad right-of-way and within the city limits.
