Calgary, Alberta – April 20, 2026 – AVAX One Technology Ltd. (Nasdaq: AVX), a pioneering player in the digital infrastructure sector, has taken a significant step in its evolution by announcing a strategic partnership with BlueFlare Energy Solutions Inc. to develop a 10 MW AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC) powered land facility in Alberta. This initiative not only represents a formal expansion into the data center vertical but also positions AVAX One to capitalize on the surging demand for AI and HPC capabilities.

1. Addressing the Power Bottleneck

The newly announced project aims to tackle the critical power bottleneck limiting the growth of AI and HPC Edge computing. AVAX One’s scalable microgrid model, designed in 10 MW increments, is expected to generate recurring revenue streams while enhancing the company’s existing Avalanche treasury strategy. This innovative approach merges on-chain finance with physical compute infrastructure, creating robust opportunities for sustainable shareholder value.

Jolie Kahn, CEO of AVAX One, emphasized the importance of this development, stating, “Executing this Letter of Intent marks a transformative milestone in our evolution into a diversified digital infrastructure company.” Kahn pointed out that reliable and cost-efficient power has become a primary constraint on data center deployments, underscoring the urgency of this initiative.

2. Project Details and Strategic Advantages

Under the terms of the Letter of Intent, AVAX One will negotiate a definitive agreement with BlueFlare within the next 30 days, where BlueFlare will act as the development manager. The project is strategically located within a 50-mile radius of Calgary, prioritizing brownfield sites with existing natural gas-fired generation assets. This choice not only accelerates the development timelines but also minimizes permitting risks.

Key Project Highlights:

  • Total Site Power Capacity: Minimum 10 MW
  • Mission-Critical Power: Minimum 7 MW
  • Target Delivery: Powered land ready for end-client deployment in Q1 2027
  • Primary Power Source: Natural gas-fired generation (with a focus on brownfield sites)
  • Resilience Features: Incorporation of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and diesel backup to meet Tier 3 requirements
  • Location: Within 50 miles of Calgary, leveraging Alberta’s abundant natural gas resources and AESO grid access

The anticipated cost of the project is estimated between $30 million to $35 million, with financial milestones tied to key project deliverables including site selection, feasibility studies, permitting, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

3. Long-Term Revenue and Sustainability

Once completed, AVAX One intends to contract the powered land to qualified Edge Compute clients under long-term infrastructure agreements. This is expected to generate a reliable stream of recurring revenue while supporting high-value AI and HPC workloads, further solidifying the company’s position in the digital infrastructure market.

Kahn reiterated the strategic importance of this initiative by stating, “By developing Tier 3-ready powered land supported by on-site, behind-the-meter natural gas generation, we are directly addressing this bottleneck while creating scalable, revenue-generating infrastructure assets for our shareholders.”

4. The Future of AVAX One

As AVAX One continues to evolve, this development signals a robust commitment to building institutional-grade exposure to next-generation digital infrastructure. The partnership with BlueFlare not only enhances AVAX One's operational capabilities but also positions the company advantageously within the broader scope of the on-chain and AI-driven economies.

The announcement is a clear indication of AVAX One’s strategy to integrate energy solutions with advanced computing, creating a model that could be replicated across North America in the coming years. In a rapidly changing digital landscape, AVAX One is setting the stage for future growth and innovation in the intersection of energy and computing.
